Throughout his life, the Western-style painter MIYAMOTO Saburo(1905-1974) had a special love for the motif of flowers. Alongside his life and work, Miyamoto was constantly accompanied by flowers. Not only did he reproduce the superficial beauty and forms of flowers, Miyamoto strove to capture their essence and substance. His flowers exude the vivid brilliance of autonomous entities that transcend still-life painting. The exhibition is also interlaced with pictures of women from each era of the artist’s career.
